Hobby Farm came from the brains of tech-savvy country folk who yearn for the simpler times. If they can’t find it in real life, then by golly, they’ll virtualize it on the blockchain!

Quite simply, start by reserving your acreage (1 Token = 1 Acre) via the “Land Grab” that begins as soon as the token launches. As interest and funding in the project grows organically (no pun intended), you will be provided new options which allow you to customize your hobby farm with animals, crops, landscape features, etc. and a fun way to visualize that while creating passive income!

Eventually, this will evolve into more advanced visualizations of your hobby farm portfolio (that AI voodoo we keep hearin’ so much about), and a Hobby Farm game, both with the ability to add profit!

Each $HOBBY token represents one acre of land on your farm. So, let’s refer to tokens as “acres” for simplicity.

With a public sale limited to 61 Million Acres, we have an area roughly the size of Oregon to divvy up among holders. When all the acreage is bought up, that’s it... no more will be minted. So, grab your land now and secure it for later phases of development!

There will be a 1% transaction fee to help the founding farmers keep their lights on. As needed, half of that will be sent back to the liquidity pool.

As the project and community grow, we can look at a better, tax-free model, especially going into future phases where farm customization, visualization and passive income generation are the new craze!

Farm Customization

To help build trust with the community, we renounced ownership of the $HOBBY smart contract. We want it immutable, meaning, nobody can change the code or how it functions. So then, how can we expect to build our farms? Let’s talk.

Aside from DEX/CEX listings (which are super cool), the main focus of Phase 2 is on allowing our farmers to customize their farms with crops, animals, etc. in a fun and profitable way. Here is the plan:

• We will create a new smart contract for NFTs. These NFTs will represent the crops and animals in your Hobby Farm. This contract will be separate from $HOBBY but designed to interact with it in a meaningful way. Don't worry, we do NOT intend to profit from these NFTs, they will be a negligible cost. The amounts you may acquire will depend on how much land you own ($HOBBY). This is because the NFT contract can recognize ownership of our $HOBBY tokens and grant benefits and abilities based on that ownership.

• We will use a factory pattern (contract) that can deploy new contracts, including ones for different types of NFTs. This approach allows for the creation of multiple NFT collections or functionalities without a need to modify the original contract. It will also create a system where hobby farmers mint or acquire NFTs based on their interactions with their original tokens.

• Even though we can't modify the original contract, the new contracts we deploy can still read data from it. This allows for the creation of NFTs that are somehow dependent on the state or balance of the original tokens, such as granting certain NFTs based on how many tokens a user holds. We will set up the NFT contract to listen for events emitted by the original token contract (if any), and trigger specific actions in response, enhancing the interactivity between $HOBBY token and NFT ecosystems.
